Here's a new way for you to join the Zoundry community without using our Blog Writer or even having a blog at all. Use our free toolbars to connect to our merchants and earn money from sharing product recommendations through social bookmarking sites or email.

Use the Toolbar to share product recommendations with friends & family using email or a social bookmarking site like del.icio.us or Yahoo! My Web 2.0. See this giftlist example at del.icio.us or read more at the Zoundry Blog.

Simply surf the Web as usual. Whenever you are at a product page at a supported merchant, the Zoundry logo and Recommend This button will change colors. Click on the button. Write a brief message about the product and add some tags (such as product categories or friends' names.) Login with your Zoundry ID or choose a charity to receive your referral fees. (If you aren't a member yet, sign up here.)

Save the page to del.icio.us or Yahoo! My Web 2.0, or copy and paste the product link URL and email to a friend. When your friends click through the link and buy, you make money as a reward for your recommendation.

If you are currently logged into del.icio.us, your message and tags will be imported automatically. Otherwise you will be prompted to login and you will have to page back to save your message and tags to del.icio.us again. For Yahoo! My Web 2.0, your message and tags will be carried over even if you are not currently logged in.

Blog This! for Blog Writer™

Our Zoundry toolbars allow you to create a blog post quickly from any web page within our supported browsers. When you are at a web page of interest, highlight the text from the page and press the Blog This! button in the toolbar. This will launch the Blog Writer and paste the selected text, including any links, within the editor.

If you are at a product page at one of our supported merchants, you can press Blog This! (without needing to highlight any text) and the Blog Writer will automatically copy any available product text (plus optional image) and create a Zoundry product link to the page with your Zoundry ID.

The Blog Writer will also attempt to auto discover trackback URL information from the page. If more than one trackback is found, then a list of available trackbacks are shown (see screenshot below.) The selected trackback will be used for your post and the original author will be notified when you publish your post.

If you are using the Blog Writer with the Toolbar, we recommend that you download and use version 0.9.133 beta (Oct 5, 2005) or later. Click here for information on the most recent version of the Blog Writer.

Shop online as you normally would, and with just one click, you can earn cash back on your purchases. It's simple and there's no catch. Whenever you are at a product page at a merchant who offers the rebate program, the Zoundry logo and Buy This Now button in the Toolbar will change colors. Just click on the button and the page will refresh with your Zoundry ID embedded in the URL (note the page will look the same as before.)

Purchase the product as you normally would and earn a rebate, usually between 2-5% depending on the merchant. If you add multiple products to your shopping cart, you will earn a rebate on your entire purchase. We track your rebates and will add them to your referral fees for payment per the terms of our program agreement.

There are a few products that do not earn rebates, such as gift certificates, and product returns result in forfeiture of the rebate.

You can check how much you have earned in rebates and referral fees by logging into your Zoundry Service account and going to the Reports tab. Reports are usually updated every other week. If you aren't a member yet, sign up.

Installation instructions (for Windows 2000 or XP only):
1. Click the link above and save the ZoundryToolbarIE.exe file to your desktop.
2. If you have a previous version, please uninstall Zoundry Toolbar via Windows Add Remove Programs.
3. Double-click the ZoundryToolbar icon to run the installer and follow the instructions in the installation wizard.
4. When prompted for your Zoundry ID, enter your username (email address) if you have an account, or enter a Charity ID. If you leave it blank, your referral fees will go into the Zoundry donation jar.

Note: If you do not see the Zoundry Toolbar when you launch Internet Explorer, please choose View, and then Toolbars from the browser menu. Then select Zoundry Toolbar from the slide-out menu.
